Nachfolgend eine Übersicht der Musiktitel, in denen "Akte X" oder die Hauptdarsteller erwähnt wurden. Sie erhebt keinerlei Anspruch auf Vollständigkeit.

Allgemeines

Die Bands "Eve 6" und "Kill Switch Engage" haben sich nach Episoden der Serie benannt. Die Band Filter erscheint auf zwei Soundtracks: "Thanks Bro" auf Songs in the Key of X (CD) und "One (is the loneliest number)" auf The X-Files Movie Album (CD). Sänger Richard Patrick ist der Bruder von Doggett-Darsteller Robert Patrick.
